In Figure 1.3, you can see the default user interface of Blender.

That is the default user interface because it is what you see every time
Blender starts after a fresh install. You can rearrange and modify Editors
from the interface in several ways. What is an Editor? Each division in
the interface is an Editor that has the purpose of handling a particular
type of data.
For instance, you will find the large space at the center with a single
cube, camera, and light as the 3D Viewport. That is the Editor
responsible for displaying 3D data and will also allow you to manipulate
3D models. There you can work with 3D modeling and visualize your
projects in a tridimensional space.
Other essential Editors in Blender:
Properties Editor: Shows options regarding the selected object to
edit and change properties like materials, modifiers, and more.
